Saltiga reels deliver immense power and top Japanese technology. Combined with the reel's MQ aluminum body, the new Airdrive Design ensures maximum durability and sensitivity – perfect for powerful fights such as halibut, tuna, amberjack, or GT, targeted with fairly light gear.

The Airdrive rotor reduces the weight at the reel's front unit, optimizing rod balance – resulting in improved casting performance and enhanced sensitivity when presenting the bait. The rotor’s weight reduction also further decreases startup resistance, optimizing reaction and sensitivity even more. The one-piece hollow Airdrive bail ensures optimal line management and reduces the risk of tangles during casting.

The CNC-machined handle is made from G1 Duraluminum and has been specially coated for even smoother and softer operation than usual. The Airdrive Shaft creates a low-contact structure with the pinion gear, minimizing friction resistance at the shaft, leading to smooth and nearly silent reel operation. The Monocoque body design allows the use of a larger gear, with improved power transmission and longer service life under heavy load conditions. The deformation-resistant reel body ensures optimal gear housing and consistently smooth operation.
