The Laguna LT is a new addition to the spinning reel range, impressing with its modern design combined with high-quality materials. Thanks to the LT (LIGHT and TOUGH) concept, smaller reel bodies can be used while maintaining the spool size, significantly reducing the weight for endurance fishing without tiring your arm. The long cast ABS aluminum spool generates less friction during casts and optimizes casting performance.

The Tough Digigear system ensures smooth operation, is highly durable, provides instant power transmission during retrieves, and increased endurance, making this reel model a reliable companion even for the most active fishing sessions, with hundreds of retrieves and casts per day. The ATD drag system guarantees smooth operation with no initial resistance and offers optimized pulling power with high sensitivity at the same time.

LT (LIGHT and TOUGH) - Daiwa technology translated into reduced new reel sizes, making them stronger than ever. Daiwa engineers aimed to eliminate unnecessary weight without sacrificing power, keeping the same line capacity on the spool. Redesigned with a minimalist profile and a tougher Digigear gear train, these features make the LT the lightest and most durable Daiwa reel.

ATD™ (Automatic Drag System) - the drag system excels with much smoother transitioning between drag intervals, making it perfect for use with braided lines. With ATD, the drag starts immediately from the beginning, and the transition to the preset drag force happens within a fraction of a second, thus preventing the line from breaking during mechanical stress.

Tough DigiGear® - a digitally developed gear train designed to withstand high pulling forces. The pinion gear, housed within the spool body, transmits the handle’s power directly to the rotor, smoothly and extremely efficiently. The size of the drive gear, strength and angle of the gears, shape and tooth surface allow the construction of gearboxes with exceptional smoothness, minimal resistance during use, and extremely long lifespan.

Infinite Anti-Reverse® - a roller bearing that allows rotor rotation in only one direction. Only the highest quality steel parts with the strictest tolerances are used here.
