The Daiwa J-Braid X8 PE is a braided line that has become even better with the introduction of the Expedition version. With the same construction made from Izanas fibers that made J-Braid such a popular braided line, Expedition is enhanced by Daiwa Silicon “Coating PE” technology, creating a softer, more uniform line with hydrophobic properties that increase durability and improve sensitivity, resulting in a very strong and extremely versatile line for fishing predatory species (pike, perch, zander, trout, asp).

With the silicon coating on the J-Braid Expedition, you get a braided line that doesn’t absorb water, which means it doesn’t get weighed down by mud or sediment found in the water. By repelling water thanks to its hydrophobic properties, J-Braid Expedition will last longer than traditional lines, offering greater value and higher performance.
