The Emcast BR LT is a baitrunner reel with an integrated design and an elegant "Concept LT" (Light & Tough) construction, built around a graphite frame that provides low weight and superior durability. The long cast ABS aluminum spool and the Slow Cross Wrap™ line laying system ensure even distribution of the coils and significantly reduced friction. The reel is sold together with an aluminum spare spool, identical in shape and capacity to the main spool.

The baitrunner is a special brake located at the back of the reel that allows the fish to take line once hooked. The baitrunner has two controls: a lever to manually activate or deactivate this brake, and a dial through which the angler adjusts the force or resistance applied to the fish when it takes line.

The ATD braking system provides instant operation and fine adjustment, while the Tough Digigear gearing delivers optimal power transmission and huge strength, very useful when frequently retrieving rigs and during fights with large fish. The sturdy pick-up wire, Infinite Anti-Reverse® system, and CNC machined aluminum handle complete the reel’s features. The soft-touch knob button fits perfectly in the angler’s palm.

Silent Oscillation® System - thanks to the special mounting and guiding of the axle lift gears, Daiwa engineers have achieved a significant smoothing of power transmission compared to conventional systems with a similar design. Silent lifting on axes means less noise, precise operation, and extreme durability.

Slow Cross Wrap® - is a special cross-pattern line laying technology on the spool. This technology significantly reduces tangles around the axle. Additionally, the unique winding means more coils are loaded onto the spool, translating into extreme casting distances.

Tough DigiGear® - a digitally developed speed gear system designed to withstand high pulling forces. The pinion integrated into the spool housing transmits handle power directly to the rotor, smoothly and very efficiently. The size of the drive gear, durability and gear angles, shape, and gear teeth surface allow for the construction of gearboxes with exceptional smoothness, minimal resistance during use, and an extremely long lifespan.

Infinite Anti-Reverse® - a roller bearing that allows the rotor to rotate in only one direction. Only the highest quality steel parts with the tightest tolerances are used here.
