The new Certate SW reels feature an aluminum "Monocoque Body" frame and a sleek design that ensures reduced weight on every component. The idea of the Daiwa Japan engineers was to design the best and most precise reel on the market by breaking the compromises between light weight and long-lasting strength. Powerful yet lightweight, this series allows you to approach various sea techniques such as light jigging, shore jigging, or even deep fishing with shad.

"Monocoque Body" - The Monohull structure has an aluminum frame designed to resist torsion and bending while refining and optimizing the internal space for the pinion and gears. By saving space, the size of the gear system relative to the frame volume was extended to technical limits, so the rotor now occupies 85% of the total Monohull frame space. This technology optimizes the advantages of Certate, both in terms of weight reduction and power. Certate G adopts an aluminum body with high machining precision and longer lifespan.

"Tough Digigear" - This gear machining technology offers increased and lasting smoothness. As soon as the handle crank is turned with the slightest touch, the rotor starts rotating. The "Tough Digigear" drive gear is designed through cold forging and high-precision CNC cutting. This engineering ensures infinitely silent rotation.

"MagSealed Technology" - Sealing the rotor is a challenge that Daiwa met in 2010 and optimized year after year. To seal the rotor inside the housing, the seal is made from a magnetic oil called MagSealed. This oil is frozen in a magnetic field and prevents water and dust from entering the mechanism. Certate has a one-piece structure without welds or flanges, ensuring high durability. That’s why MagSealed is additionally positioned on both the pinion and the pick-up, providing resistance against corrosion from saltwater.
