Daiwa Ballistic LT Reel

The Ballistic LT model is based on DAIWA's new Light&Tough concept. The new LT reels are much lighter while offering more power on retrieval than previous models. The spool body dimensions have been reduced while the retrieval power is even improved by the new pinion design.

The Zaion body, resistant to twisting, provides a secure housing for the pinion and contributes to the reel's reduced weight. The ATD braking system develops a smooth drag force without startup resistance. The CNC-machined aluminum handle is well matched with the pinion gear. The MagSealed housing prevents water from entering around the axle—perfect for saltwater fishing—while the Tough DigiGear unit supports optimal retrieval power and lasting durability.

Drag force has been increased with the new design—sizes 2500/3000 develop a maximum drag force of 10kg, sizes 4000/6000 allow up to 12kg, and smaller models up to 5kg. Size 6000 comes with a handle knob especially useful for intense demands—ideal for light jigging or feeder fishing.
