The integration of the AIRDRIVE Design concept into the Daiwa TDM Match & Feeder reels brings significant advantages over previous models. Reduced weight and a lower balance point contribute to easier handling and superior sensitivity while fishing. The AIRDRIVE rotor, made from ZAION V, is designed to reduce line tangles and ensure stable operation even in windy conditions or when using thin braid. The redesigned pick-up arm optimizes line guidance and minimizes fouling during use.

The TOUGH DIGIGEAR II gearset, with oversized teeth, delivers smooth, powerful transmission—ideal for quick retrieval of feeders or for fighting large fish. The torsion-resistant aluminium body keeps the gear perfectly aligned for maximum durability. The model is equipped with the QD Quick Drag braking system, which allows instant adjustment of the drag. A half turn of the knob switches the drag setting from minimum to maximum, providing quick control after a cast or during a fight.

The ABS (Anti Backlash System) enables long casts and prevents line twist. The spool is designed with a large diameter in the line-laying area so the line sits toward the front of the spool and unwinds in wide loops, reducing the risk of twisting. Thanks to this system, casts become smoother and more efficient. The reel features a HIP line clip for secure fastening and a Twist Buster III roller to protect the line. The aluminium handle, fitted with a round EVA knob, provides a comfortable grip and excellent control even with wet hands.
