The Opinel Nr.07 Outdoor Junior is a folding pocket knife specially designed for children, perfect for teaching kids how to whittle, cut, or carve wood, but it can also be used for food preparation. The blade is made from stainless and modified Sandvik 12C27 steel with high corrosion resistance due to the addition of chromium, and it has undergone a special heat treatment, resulting in a hardness of 57-58HRC. It is equipped with a Virobloc locking system - this locks the blade in both open and closed positions, making it easy and safe to store and carry.

The ergonomic handle is made of polyamide, resistant to moisture and extreme temperatures (between -40 and +80 degrees C), slightly widened at the end, making the knife comfortable to hold and preventing it from slipping during use. At the handle's end, there is also a built-in 110 dB whistle for emergency signaling, audible from over 300 meters away.

NOTE: The Opinel Nr.07 My First is recommended for children over 7 years old. It is up to the parents to judge the child's independence and maturity. This knife features a rounded tip for increased safety but is recommended to be used under adult or guardian supervision.
