The Q5 alarms feature classic buttons for adjusting volume (the "V" button), tone (the "T" button), and sensitivity (the "S" button). Volume, tone, and sensitivity each have independent adjustment levels. Thanks to the universal thread, the alarms can be attached to any type of rod pod, tripod, buzz bar, or bankstick.

The alarms have built-in functions that signal the "run" bite (when the fish takes the line) as well as the "drop" bite (when the fish approaches the rod). They also include vibration mode, low battery alarm, anti-theft alarm, night light, a Jack socket for powering illuminated swingers, and snag ears (detachable stabilizer ears that can be mounted in strong wind).

The casings of both the alarms and the receiver are made of impact-resistant ABS and offer protection against water ingress. The alarms operate on a 9V battery, which can provide long-lasting performance (up to 100 hours). After fishing, it is recommended to remove the batteries and transport them separately.

The Q5 receiver features an automatic detection system for easy synchronization of the alarms. The 4 signal LEDs can be synchronized with up to 4 alarms (with perfectly synchronized alert tones and colors). The receiver has buttons for adjusting volume ("V") and tone ("T"). You can also select "Vibration" or "Silent" mode. The receiver runs on 3 AAA batteries.

NOTE: The effective range of the alarms and receiver is approximately 200-250m, depending on usage conditions. The alarms and receiver are sold in a plastic case lined with foam material, providing protection during transport against mechanical shocks and water ingress. Both the receiver and alarms have protection against water entering the speakers. The receiver cannot be synchronized with more than 4 Q5 alarms!
