The alarms feature buttons to adjust volume (button "V"), tone (button "T"), and sensitivity (button "S"). Both volume and tone have 6 independent setting levels. Pressing the volume level 6 activates the vibration function. Thanks to the universal thread, the alarms can be attached to any type of rod pod, tripod, buzz bar, or bankstick.

The alarm and receiver casings are made of shock-resistant rubberized plastic and have protection against water ingress. The alarms operate on a 9V battery, which can provide long-lasting use (up to 100 hours). The receiver also runs on a 9V battery. After your fishing session, it is recommended to remove the batteries and transport them separately.

The alarms and receiver come packaged in a plastic carrying case, lined inside with foam to effectively protect against mechanical shocks, accidental impacts, and moisture. The receiver and alarms have a 200-meter range and are waterproof (the casing is rain-resistant).
