Synx Stiff Coated Braid is a textured line with a sleeve, specially designed for rig tying. It combines top-quality braided fibers with high strength at small diameters, covered with a multi-layer polymer sleeve (no fewer than 30 different layers form the plastic coating of the line), highly resistant to abrasion and mechanical impact.

A common drawback of sleeved lines is that the protective coating fails at the knot, reducing rig mechanics and strength. Synx Coated Braid allows anglers to use a wide variety of knots without worrying about rapid damage to the plastic sleeve. The line has increased knot strength as well as abrasion resistance.

The inner braided line is supple and tightly textured to prevent fiber snagging. With Synx, you can tie any popular modern carp rig, from chod rigs to combi rigs or even soft rigs if you completely remove the sleeve. The outer plastic coating is fairly rigid but straightens easily by running it through your hand a few times. No steaming treatment is required.
