The Berkley experts have studied and developed over 25 years a scent that they apply to the lure's body to significantly increase its attractiveness, the exclusive PowerBait formula. The PowerBait Power Honey Worm is a larva-type lure, highly effective for trout fishing. It is well known that larvae are a main part of predator fish diets; due to its realistic shape, this lure is also effective when fishing for chubs and even perch, both in rivers and lakes. The chosen material mimics the texture of worms and earthworms, a feature that makes the bait realistic and appealing to predators. The lure has a very natural action that quickly catches the fish's attention.

The PowerBait Power Honey Worm can be used with most jig fishing techniques or in drift fishing, carried by the river current. These techniques provoke strikes from trout, whether native, fountain trout, or the aggressive rainbow trout. The lure is delivered in a plastic screw-top jar that can be reused to preserve the lure's scent.
