DEX Trencher is a floating lure equipped with the unique Berkley Weight Ramp system, which ensures precise casts at much greater distances. The system consists of an internal weight that slides to the rear of the lure during the cast, dramatically improving distance and accuracy, while during retrieval the weight positions itself at the front to provide a balanced action. When fishing with the "jerk" style (short, sharp jerks of the rod tip), the Weight Ramp system generates sharp noises and vibrations that will trigger the interest of predatory fish. The lure features a stabilizer disc on the lip, helping it maintain a straight trajectory during fast retrieves as well as when hitting submerged structures.
