DEX Trencher is a floating crankbait equipped with the unique Berkley Weight Ramp system, which ensures precise casts at much greater distances. The system consists of an internal weight that slides to the back of the bait during casting, dramatically improving distance and accuracy, and during retrieval, the weight moves to the front to provide a balanced action. When fishing with the "jerk" style (short jerks from the rod tip), the Weight Ramp system produces sharp noises and vibrations that will trigger the interest of predatory fish. The crankbait benefits from a stabilizer disc on the bib, which helps it maintain a straight trajectory both during fast retrieves and when hitting submerged structures.
