Built with Sintrix NSX technology and a higher percentage of high and intermediate modulus carbon fibers, the rod has a lightweight design that maximizes line feel and sensitivity. Titanium frame guides lined with ceramic and the custom ultralight reel seat improve balance and durability. The rod comes in a Hardy aluminum tube, making it ideal for technical fishing situations. The rod features a custom ultralight reel seat. True to its name, the Ultralite DH reel seat is engineered to keep the rod’s weight down. A carbon fiber insert is cut and replaced with lighter carbon, leaving the blank exposed to reduce weight.
